Description- Wordle is a word program that generates “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like.
Students Characteristics- Wordle is a great tool for students who struggle with remembering the important parts of text. Teachers can make word clouds to show students the words that will appear frequently in text and help them learn the word and meaning. This will help students who have a hard time remembering key words in text.
